Amazing Satellite Image Taken Sunday of the Snow

Saturday evening, our area experienced a few hours of moderate snow, which dropped nearly two inches of snow to some locations, bringing traffic to a halt on many roads.

Then on Sunday, the clouds and the falling snow cleared, giving way to a milder, crystal clear day. Because of those clear skies, the satellite in space was able to capture this amazing photo of Southern New England and parts of the Mid-Atlantic with a thin strip of freshly fallen snow seen from northern Pennsylvania through the southern coast of New England. Anywhere where you see the white is the snow, although in the upper-lefthand part of the picture are clouds instead of snow.
