Record-Breaking October Heat Statistics

This week has been a hot week, where we tied the record high on Monday, reaching 79 degrees. We also hit 79 degrees on this same day back in 1958. Then on Tuesday, the temperatures only reached 74 degrees in Bridgeport, so that didn't break the record high of 75 degrees, but I'm a bit skeptical on that high temperature. Now we get to Wednesday which was the big record breaking day. Here's the three record we broke:


We also had the record latest 85 degree plus day, breaking the old record set in 2011 with a temperature of 85 degrees. October is definitely on its way to being one of the warmest on record overall.
